Why buy your electricity direct from us?
As a consumer of energy, you will need to "purchase/buy" your electricity from an Authorised retailer or from an AER Registered exempt on-Seller.
All Energy Retailers must offer customers the AER regulated "Standing Offer price plan". This is capped maximum price you can be charged from a retailer. This allows every energy consumer to know the maximum "reference" price that can be charged and the regulated terms and and conditions as set by AER annually. Retailers are also required to compare their "Market Offer" prices against the regulated reference price and the terms and conditions
Purchasing your electricity direct from us, as an AER exempt on-Seller, means you can benefit from our "bulk purchasing" savings directly. As the electricity network service provider we buy it in bulk to supply electricity to everyone in the Precinct. This means it will be cheaper for you if you choose to buy it directfrom us.
We aim to keep our market offer electricity plans to our retail customers simple, fair, flexible and hassle free. We compare our "Market Retail" prices against the bigger energy retailers market offers in the same postcode zone annually and adjust our market prices so we will always offer a cheaper and fair "Market Retail" offer to you by comparison.
